Nice clean UI... the icon seems to be smaller than the standard size... If you pick the white background as the default and each time you load the App, it starts with a black screen and turns into white... if you pick black it starts automatically in black... This App was great until you introduced the black display... ;(

Simplest quick flashlight Ive ever seen

Ive used countless flashlight apps buy Lighty has quickly replaced all of them. The app is extremely simple but beautiful looking. It doesnt have any options or ways to customize it but it doesnt need all that extra bulk that other flashlight apps have. You get in, light your way, and then youre out.

Fast startup (probably fastest among all flashlight apps). Automatically turns on when you start it up, which is pretty much what you always want. Big on/off button that you can hit with one hand without looking for the button. Minimalist and sleek interface. Doesnt hide status bar (with clock and battery meter) which is a good design decision. No ads. This flashlight gets the job done and is the best flashlight app.

It looks good, no ads, no settings, no frills, just 1 button to turn it on and off.

Its my favourite flashlight app - simply, fast, easy to use and nice icon. The light button screen would be a bit lighter for me - to use it without led diod if needed as a flashlight.

Screen dims when not touched.. Nice simply featured with smooth display... still not up to par with Flashlight "a free app" due to this minor function...

Works on iPhone 4s, instant on, double tap for black or white theme, and no ads. Thats the best part. Im keeping this one.

Awesome Ive tried other flashlight apps that have all these different functions but I was willing to give up all those unnecessary functions for lightys simple on off function, because not only is it faster at turn on but no ads!! its free! and most importantly it gets the job done! If your looking for a flashlight app that works how you want it to with out all the bs look no further. I would have been willing to pay for this thats how happy Im with it. Check it.

Form and function unite for one of the fastest and best looking flashlight applications I have ever used. Intentional or not, this app pays homage to the Dieter Rams 10 principles of good design.
